Martin Portrait #photog:

LOBB (Large on black background)Nikon D300 + Sigma 30mm f/1.4 @ 30mm - 1/60sec, f/1.4, ISO 100.
I was out in the archipelago with Martin, where he introduced me to some sweetspots for sunset and coastal photography.
After a while of 10-20mm wideangle sunset-photography, I set up an SB600 (camera left) and calibrated the exposure for the background. I borrowed his Sigma 30/1.4 (which is insanely awesome) and took this shot with off-camera flash set to 1/32 and the on-camera flash set to TTL, which worked perfectly as fill-flashes. I think this is probably one of the (technically) best portraits I’ve done. I probably owe half (or more) of it to the lense. I’m getting one… one day.
