I just followed a friend to a live gig by symphonic metal band “Ultimate Fate”.

Shooting at a place full of people was fun, and challenging. I’ve never appreciated the f/1.8 and ISO-performance of the D300 more than tonight! :-)

It took some time before I worked up the courage to just stand before other people to take my shots and to use the flash (set to 1/32th).

Hopefully, I’ll get some more shots of this type since I’ve met Kristjan, who plays in a band called “Unfolded Hate” as well as “Hate Liberation”.
