I was out with cablefreak and Claes last night. We drove to Svartedalen (nature reserve) at night and hiked around for a bit.
We decided to drive further into the reserve, and then found this isolated, abandonded shed and decided it was the perfect spot to setup some flashes/speedlights and go crazy for a while.
It was -5.00°C (23.00°F) and it was about midnight tuesday night. But all that didn’t matter when we saw how these shots turned out. Claes and Martin is inside the building, holding up two SB800 pointing out of the shed. Here we were, three guys in a nature reserve in the middle of the night, flashing away with 3-4 strobes at a time. I’m sure it must have been visible from far.
I’d love to do it again. I will be posting more shots from this session in a day or two.
Also, proper credit should be given to Martin (cablefreak) and Claes. We all worked on this piece together, and both had their way with this setup, so you should probably see a couple of shots by them that are similar to this.
